How to Travel Around Malaysia

Why Malaysia Is Easy to Explore

Malaysia is one of Southeast Asia’s most connected countries. Whether you’re island-hopping in Langkawi, exploring the colonial charm of Penang, or navigating the skyscrapers of Kuala Lumpur, the country offers a wide variety of affordable and reliable transport options—from buses and trains to e-hailing apps like Grab.

1. Intercity & Local Buses

Malaysia has an extensive bus network that connects major cities and rural towns alike. It’s also the most budget-friendly way to get around.
